The New York Yankees have reached a preliminary agreement with C.C Sabathia. The 28 year old left hander will likely sign onto a 7 year, 161 million dollar contract. C.C was the number one free agent going into this offseason, and it was only a matter of time before Yankees GM Brian Cashman wheeled him into the bronx. C.C was lights out for the brewers last season, lets just hope he can earn his pinstripes in New York.

The Yankees have also been reported to have extended a contract to ace pitcher AJ. Burnett. This contract is a guaranteed 5 year deal, that is estimated around 91 million. The second offer came from Atlanta 5 years only 61 million.

Also today, the Yankees are reportedly going to trade center fielder Melky Cabrera to the Milwaukee Brewers for Mike Cameron. Cameron would give the bombers a permanent center fielder, until AAA player Austin Jackson is ready for some major league action.

Cameron hit .243 with 25 HRs, and 70 rbis, in only 120 games played last season.
